Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on the 7th of December th, 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, grew up in a family of faith, supported by loving and devoted parents. The LoveWorld ministry is a collaboration between the entire family. It was Ambrose Ali University when he received his call from God to become a minister and serving the Lord.

LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station that reaches from Africa to the rest of the world, all the time via free-to-air networks. Today, LoveWorld stations can be found on satellite and cable television networks across the globe.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's native Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The ministry operates two healing schools located in South Africa.

COFI's umbrella includes the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM) as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission.
